Great harness, minor install quirk
"Works exactly as advertised, love the feel of the handle when loaded. The first bucket I tried it on was a thicker-walled one from a local farm supply store and the ring was a tight fit, had to flex it a little. Standard Home Depot / Lowe's buckets slip on no problem. Knocking one star for the fit tolerance, but I'd buy again."

Does it fit my bucket?
Yes, if it's a standard 5-gallon bucket. That includes orange Home Depot buckets, blue Lowe's buckets, white and black utility buckets from every major hardware chain, and nearly all paint supply buckets. Thicker-walled specialty buckets (some farm supply and food-grade buckets) can be a tight fit.
Do I need to drill or modify the bucket?
No. Pop the factory wire handle off (it unclips), slide the Louanson ring over the bucket, and you're done. No tools, no drilling, no cutting, no glue.
How much weight can it actually hold?
The welded galvanized frame is rated for 100+ lbs of static load. In practice, that covers roofing shingles, grout, mortar mix, compound, debris, and anything else you'd reasonably put in a 5-gallon bucket.
Will it rust?
The frame is galvanized steel, which is highly corrosion-resistant. It's designed for daily outdoor jobsite exposure. Normal rain, dust, concrete dust, and paint overspray will not degrade it.
Can I hoist it up to a roof with a rope?
Yes. The apex of the handle is rope-ready. It was designed for exactly that. Tie off to the top loop, hoist with a pulley or by hand, and the counter-balanced geometry keeps the bucket level.
Is the lifetime guarantee real?
